What is tim rattay?

Tim Rattay is a former professional American football player who primarily played as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on March 15, 1977 in Phoenix, Arizona. Rattay played college football at Louisiana Tech University where he set several school passing records.

After college, Rattay was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the 7th round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He spent several seasons with the 49ers, serving as a backup quarterback behind Jeff Garcia. Rattay had a breakout season in 2004, where he threw for over 2,100 yards and 10 touchdowns in just 9 games.

Rattay also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, and Arizona Cardinals during his NFL career. He retired from professional football in 2007 and later went on to work as a college football coach, including stints at Louisiana Tech and Oklahoma State.
